I'm doing Kristine's SPF this week!

My Pot Holders (and Oven Mitt)

Aren't they bright and colorful?

My Melons

I don't have any pumpkins...we're not very festive this year...and we didn't have any melon fruit either. So these will have to do. I know Kristine just wanted us all to post photos of these anyway. (And, I'm wearing a pink top...AND pink lipstick for bre@st cancer awareness month!)

Also...something ELSE pink

These are the giant pink amoxicillin pills they are making me take for this nasty bronchitis bacteria that settled in my throat...and my new pink gloves...cause my fingers were freezin' on my morning drives to work.

Yikes! Amoxicillin..I always have to break those in half, so its more like taking 4 pills instead of two ;-)

SPF: your world

Had such a busy week, and a crazy day...I finally got these up. I had to really fight with blogger to get the pictures to post. If you haven't switched to blogger beta...DON'T! Besides not being able to post photos 90% of the time, I always get an error message when trying to leave comments on people's sites who are still running the original blogger. Anyway...without further talk...here's SPF:

1. My Freedom

Because I love to drive by myself in my car and listen to the radio. I don't like driving with other people, and I don't like riding passenger. I love the "me time" I get just commuting. I don't even mind if traffic is bad, as long as I've got some music, and my thoughts...I am happy!

2. My Hope

My Hope (and my husband's) is to one day (not today and not tomorrow) have kids. We both want to have a family...we just aren't quite ready for that just yet. Honestly, it scares the crap out of me to be responsible for another human being...right now. I know when the time comes we will be able to handle it. I just don't want to jump into that yet.

3. My Wish

My wish right now is to get a new car. I don't have a certain one in mind that I MUST have...and it doesn't even have to be brand new. I just want something with a little more room and less quirks. It seems that practically every other day, the car I've got has some oddball problem...or something has ceased to be attached properly (side mirror, taillight, cruise control, air vent, etc).

I decided to participate in Kristine's SPF this week!

This was the song my husband and I danced to as our first dance as a married couple.

Ok...maybe I broke the rules a little on this one...cause i didn't take the shot. The credit goes to Numine. She took this photo at our wedding in May this year. But it was the only thing I could find for this...and I really wanted to do this song! Hopefully Kristine won't get punish me with the ruler for this! :o)

Book Title: A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens

This photo was taken from Belle Isle in the Detroit River. The Detroit skyline is on the right, and Windsor, Ontario is on the left.

Movie Title: Batman

I took this little guy's picture when he was hanging around on my husband's uncle's kitchen cupboards. (Uncle owns the house we are living in...and lives downstairs himself.) It freaked him out, and he couldn't get the bat out...and thought my husband was home, so he came up asking for help. It was just me...and I stepped in to remove the bat single-handedly with a bath towel and some work gloves. I let him go outside in the backyard. It was really fun, cause Uncle was so impressed, and bragged about my capturing skills for quite a while! :o)

I had an idea I really wanted to do for the movie...but I couldn't get my husband's help for it. Then I came up with a bunch of ideas, and couldn't pick one. This was my first time playing...it was really fun! You should play next week!
