i confess

I have to admit it. I am an internet addict. I have literally PILES of other things I should be doing. Yet, I'm not doing them, because I'm exploring the internet. From the regular blogs I read I check out links...from those links I find myself on other links. It is a vicious never-ending process.
For example:
The mess in my house is getting out of control. It is embarrassing, I am not the most organized person...I try but it usually just turns into chaos that only I know the order to. I can find anything in the mess. I can't have people help me organize, because then I can't find anything. That sends me into panics. It is making my husband irritable (I can't blame him) and therefore is making us unhappy when we're home together. I've been blaming the mess upstairs on the construction downstairs, claiming that I can't find a place for things that have been displaced from their storage in the basement. This excuse is growing thin. The pile up is getting more overwhelming and the project downstairs is nearing completion. Soon, I will have to have things upstairs organized into a manner that allows me to efficiently store them away downstairs.

As much as I don't want people to see the disorganized craziness of accumulated clutter, I am contemplating posting photos for you all to see as motivation for me to fix those areas. If I can't stay off the computer, I figure why not use it as a tool to track my progress. I am hoping it will help me to want to stay on task in order to reap the reward of posting the completed photos. Does anybody think that's a good idea? Have any other advice for me on how to tackle my daunting clutter with the attention span of a rabbit on crack? Obviously, I have no self-discipline to do it or I'd be sorting and organizing right now instead of writing about it. HELP!

Crank up tunes, get on some comfy clothes, turn off your cell. Open up some windows, burn a spring type candle and get moving. Besides, you will find yourself dancing with the music, so then it counts as exercise! At least that helps me! -Jenelle

Hi!

I find that while this website isn't usually filled with things I personally would do, it really is a great motivator. Although, since your procrastination tool is the internet maybe it won't be a good motivator LOL. Well, it is at least interesting! And Unitasker wednesday is always really funny :-)
